Our New Zealand distributors of Advanced Enviro-Septic (AES) Environmental Technologies, have sent us some great installation photos that clearly show the “kiwis are going around the bend.” The flexibility of the of AES pipe allows installations to follow the contours on the site or to bend around site trees and other built environments such as trees/sheds etc.
You will notice that system sand has been placed over the full extension area before they commenced placement of pipes. This is good practice as it protects against compaction of the receiving soil from workers feet.
Worth noting also is the spacer plates that are being utilised in New Zealand. They securely hold the AES pipes with correct spacing of 150mm between the rows and hold the curve neatly until the system sand can be placed over the pipes. Once the sand is placed the spacers can be removed for later use.
A good solution and a good job!
