Building Codes Queensland is undertaking a review of the Qld Plumbing and Drainage Act 2002 and issued a BCQ e-alert on the 17th of June 2014. In light of the anecdotal evidence suggesting failure rates of between 60% to 80% of onsite systems it is important that constructive and sensible contributions are made from consumers and all interested parties.
The closure date for submissions to Building Codes Queensland is the 25th of July 2014.
