The Redland Shire Council have provided a grant of $50,000 to assist the Girls Guides to install an Advanced Enviro-septic system at their Kindilan Outdoor Recreation Centre. Each year the centre caters for over 14,000 girl guides. It is a great community facility which wanted to bring their effluent treatment system to a better standard reflecting the environmentally sensitive area with-in the Catchment of Moreton Bay.

Taylor Environmental researched the options available and selected the Advanced Enviro-septic due to its passive nature, low capital cost (They believe a saving of over $200,000 will be realised over conventional methods), low carbon footprint and low maintenance cost.

To meet the requirements of DERM they have also incorporated our passive denitrification and phosphorus removal along with our Salcor Gravity UV system which will allow for inexpensive sterilisation and disposal by above ground irrigation.
