Efforts to apply the technology developed by Bernard Foods back in 1964 to septic systems and wastewater systems have not been successful. Despite a concerted effort over six decades and listing any number of uses for their product they simply could not obtain NSF certification due to the fact that after their dehydration process there was nothing left to test.
